April was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area.  She started her climbing journey in December 2015 when she first stepped into her local climbing gym, Mission Cliffs.  April didn't immediately fall in love with climbing at first, but after she got used to the ropes, April dove head first into the sport.  Since then, April has climbed at a number of places in the United States such as Auburn Quarry, Mt. Diablo, Pinnacles National Park, Castle Rock State Park, Red Rock, Bishop, Mammoth Lakes, Joshua Tree, Smith Rock and Jamestown. April is currently working on pushing her sport climbing skills.
